DigitalStylus projects are priced on a per project basis after first carefully analyzing the scope of the work needed. More elaborate projects can be broken into two or more phases in order to build, or rebuild, a site sooner and keep the initial cost lower. Hourly rates may apply for work performed outside of the original scope determined for each project. However, the purpose of first preparing a detailed Scope Analysis, is to eliminate sudden surprises or reduce what we call "scope creep". There are no "hidden fees" or unexpected charges. The entire job goes well when a Scope Document is prepared properly in advance!

With a general idea of the type of project needed, a 'ballpark estimate' can be provided. However, in order to obtain a real and accurate quote for services, we need to complete a Scope Analysis and prepare a Scope Document that outlines all of the work to be performed. For serious prospects, to the begin the analysis and assessment of your project needs and desires, we send out our Scope Document Questionnaire. This is completed by prospective client, and we gather as much of the details needed as possible to prepare an accurate quote.

For most projects (small to medium-sized ones) the Scope Analysis, as performed in advance, is added to project cost for accepted offers. Larger projects may require that a non-refundable Scope Analysis Fee is paid for in advance, even if the proposal is not accepted.

For most projects, we take a down payment of 1/2 the job cost in advance and we collect the final payment after the client completes a final proofing of the work just prior to launching the site.

Included in each proposal is an estimate of the project's timeline with the projected start and completion dates, and estimated dates for reviewing (proofing) the work with our client at various intervals of development.

Our services are very reasonably priced for meeting the budgets of smaller and medium-sized companies. The quality of the work provided is never discounted!
